Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in the Choose Life license plate. Although North Carolina has over 130 specialty license plates, our state does not yet have the Choose Life plate. This website gives all the information you need to help make this a reality in North Carolina.
Goals of the Choose Life license plate:
We are very enthusiastic about the prospect of a Choose Life license plate in North Carolina because it will:
- Promote adoption, and other compassionate alternatives to abortion.
- Raise funds to assist women experiencing a crisis pregnancy. (The House and Senate Bill introduced this year specifies the additional cost to be $25 with $15 going to the Pregnancy Care Centers. The state receives the rest for production expenses).
The Choose Life plates are already on the road or approved in 24 states; over 573,000 plates have been sold or renewed; raising over $12.3 million .
Why not North Carolina?
The North Carolina Legislature must pass a bill to create the Choose Life license plate. We need your help to build grass roots support. Check out the tabs to the left to learn more.

Your email address will not be used for any purpose other than this petition. For the past eight years, the North Carolina General Assembly has failed to allow all members to vote on the Choose Life specialty license plate. Currently North Carolina residents proudly display over 130 specialty plates. In 2009 alone, 50 other specialty plate bills passed out of committee. The Choose Life plate is the only one they refused to let out for a vote.
Why not North Carolina? We need your help to make the Choose Life license plate a reality. Your signature on the Choose Life petition will show our legislators that there is support for the Choose Life message in North Carolina, and that the bill should be brought to a vote as required for each new tag.
